I think if I wasn’t heavily invested in Bear.app for notes, I would readily embrace the Obsidian ecosystem. I feel like I’ve been waiting for Bear 2 for years at this point and if it weren’t for the faint promise of it being released sometime this year, I would probably have migrated at this point.

So it turns out Ulysses on iOS does support using TextExpander snippets!! This is huge! I really appreciate the distraction-free writing environment that the iPad provides — this checks off one more friction point.

Just finished the new Willow series with the kids. They loved it and it was the perfect level of nostalgia-camp for those of us who were fans of the movie as kids ourselves. Seeing Warwick Davis go from a kid in the movie to an “elder” in the series was trippy. Loved the cast. Loved the irreverent references and humor. Great fun all around.

Winter 2023 😳 is upon us!

Starting out with a wide sampling, which I’m fairly sure will be trimmed down quite a bit. Very excited for Tomo-chan – absolutely loved the manga.
